Submission types

We accept the following types of submissions:

Individual talk

The time allotted for individual talks is 15 minutes (5 minutes after the talk is reserved for questions and discussion). Individual talks will be grouped around a common theme.

Abstracts should be no longer than 1500 characters, including spaces.

Symposium

Symposia are organized in two forms – with or without a discussant. Each of them lasts 100 minutes. A symposium without a designated discussant consists of five talks grouped thematically (15 minutes for each, plus an additional 5 minutes for questions/discussion). The second type of symposium groups five 15-minute talks (with 5 minutes of question/discussion time), while the remaining time is granted to the discussant.

Either form of the symposium should be submitted by its organizer, who nominates the discussant and provides the title and abstract of the entire symposium. The organizers are also responsible for providing titles and abstracts of individual talks.

Symposium overview should be no longer than 2000 charaters (including spaces), and individual abstracts should be no longer than 1500 characters, including spaces.

BLITZ presentation

A BLITZ presentation is a short (5-minute) presentation consisting of 5 slides. It is primarily used for presenting the results of single, preliminary, and pilot studies. Like regular presentations, BLITZ presentations will be grouped thematically, with time allotted for questions/discussion at the end of each session.

Abstracts should be no longer than 1500 characters, including spaces.

Poster

A poster allows for the presentation of a visual summary of one’s work. Please prepare your poster in portrait orientation, in B1 format (70,7 x 100 cm). The poster’s author will have the opportunity to discuss the research’s objectives, methods, and results directly with the public during a poster walk session.

Abstracts should be no longer than 1500 characters, including spaces.
