Types of Presentations
Oral Presentations
Oral presentations are part of thematic sessions and last 15 minutes. They are followed by 5 minutes for questions and discussion. Presentations will be grouped by topic. A Windows-based system will be available on-site, and participants are required to submit their presentation in .pdf format on a USB drive at least 10 minutes before the session begins.
Data Blitz Presentations
BLITZ presentations are short, 5-minute talks consisting of a maximum of 5 slides. They are ideal for presenting preliminary, pilot, or emerging research topics. Presentations will be grouped by theme, and time for questions and discussion will be provided at the end of the session.
Poster Presentations
Posters provide an opportunity to present research in a combined graphical and textual format during a poster session. Participants may present the aims, methods, and results of their studies through direct discussion with interested attendees.
Symposia
Symposia feature multiple presentations centered around a common theme and last approximately 100 minutes. They can be organized in two formats: – Without a discussant – five 15-minute presentations, each followed by 5 minutes for questions and discussion. – With a discussant – four 15-minute presentations, with the remaining time allocated for comments and discussion led by the assigned discussant. The symposium organizer is responsible for submitting an abstract for the symposium as a whole. *** Important Notice: Each author may actively present only one contribution at the conference (oral presentation, poster, or BLITZ presentation). Exceptions apply to symposium organizers and discussants, as these roles do not count toward the limit. Therefore, each participant should submit only one of the forms listed.
